Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. -Psalms 1:1-3

The Bible is the Law of the Lord. Of course, at the time this psalm was written by David, their "Bible" was only the books of Moses. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. These books make up the first five books of the Bible known as the books of Law. They were written by Moses as he was instructed by God.

The most important point.

I've asked myself the hard questions about all of these things and I think you'll agree, after you consider my arguments, that I have found convincing answers. But I've been taught a few things lately which have caused me to re prioritize my efforts to "spread the word". I've learned that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. In other words, it's all about love.
Love is the greatest of all the spiritual gifts. Everything else is secondary. Love has to be the first motive and ultimate message behind every attempt to "spread the word". It's not about winning an intellectual argument (even though I think that I could do that very effectively), but it's about winning the souls through the hearts of those who are looking for God.
So I need to explain why I feel motivated to write in this blog. It's because I know that there are so many people out there who don't hear anything that they can believe in. They are so calloused after seeing all the crazy ways people live and believe that they have no hope of understanding why they exist and what they should do. They have let that part of them that used to believe in right against wrong and good against evil die. They don't know what's right anymore and they have no direction or purpose for their lives. Everything good and true concerning God is hidden from them and they are left to fend for themselves with no sense of being loved.
I may speak of the Bible, but the Bible is not the source of Love. The words in the Bible contain meaning and the meaning in those words contain Love, but the Love comes straight from our Father in Heaven who expressed His Love to all mankind through the works which He did recorded in the Bible. All of it culminating to the ultimate expression of Love through the Sacrificial Death of the Lord Jesus Christ who said Himself, "greater love hath no man than this; that he lay down his life for his friends".
Love is the reason for everything that is good. God made us to need His Love and I need to share His Love with you. That's the most important point.

It starts where it started

Of course the biggest challenger to the Bibles authority is the argument of Darwinian Evolution. This concept has literally overthrown the fortresses of academia and established itself as the single most intelligent and scientific explanation for everything. I've noticed that the history books today teach evolution as a fact of history in the schools of the United States which is suposedly "One nation under God". The children are given assignments to draw the different levels of advancement through human evolution from monkeys to man. They are force fed all kinds of big scientific terms and illustrations that leave no room for arguement as to wether or not any of it is true. In fact, the idea of creation is not even allowed to be mentioned in any way unless it is to ridicule or dismiss it as ignorant.
The point of contention is at the very beginning. The Bible records that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Evolution assumes that in the beginning nothing created the heavens and the earth. According to evolutionists, everything just formed from chaos bumping into itself after countless years. No wonder they don't want to open the door for an arguement.

Let us reason with eachother.

I realize that current trends dictate that everything the Bible teaches is old fashioned fairy tales that have no real substance of fact or relevance any longer. The Bible is somehow out grown by societies like a teenager who thinks that he can dismiss the authority and advice of a wise and loving parent. And like a proud teenager, our societies will learn that it would have been better for them to stay obedient and respectful of the wisdom of their parents than to have dismissed their guidance and reject their love.
The truth is that the Bible stands alone as the most legitimate and comprehensive record of ancient history. It records events, places, peoples and times with astonishing accuracy. In fact, the Bible often has the only record of certain peoples until evidence is unearthed that confirms their existence. When it comes to rulers and the times of their rule, many historians had thought that the Bible had been off by several years only to discover that it was they who had miscalculated and the Bible remained correct. There have always been those who have set out to prove the Bible wrong only to find that it was incredibly right. Such people will always be with us but let them dig. They will only find more evidence that supports the Biblical records. In fact, the Bible is the most used reference by archaeologists who are searching for the exact locations of ancient ruins.
So in spite of popular opinion, the Bible has not relented from it's immeasurable significance and influence as the highest authority in written history. To be sure, there are many who wish it had, but it most certainly has not. Like a rebellious child who screams, "I hate you!" at their father as he attempts to correct and discipline him, so are those who reject the Bible.

If we could go back...

If the world could rewind time and witness the rich history of Biblical times, they would be very surprised to find that the Bible record is very accurate. They would also be in awe of the advanced societies of those ancient times. We tend to assume that everyone was just a step above cave dwellers back then and didn't' have any real sense about the realities of our universe. Our arrogant and self-centered attitude about the ancient world only proves us to be the ignorant ones.
The ages recorded in the Bible go all the way back to the first man and woman, which researchers now admit has to be considered fact after studying the human genome. The Bible says that the first man Adam was placed in a magnificent garden called Eden. There is no place on earth that could equal the glory of this ancient garden. Eden was located at the origin of four great rivers. They were Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and the Euphrates. We know where Eden once existed. We also know that the study of human expansion leads us to this same area as the place of origin.
Advancements in society took place rather fast after the great flood. People became students of the laws of physics and learned secrets of the earth. Soon they were well organized and capable of anything they thought to do. The most adhesive factor in their unity was their common language. At that time in history everyone shared the same language and the people desired to build themselves into a great kingdom as one people to do everything they imagined to do. The Bible records that God Himself came to the city that they were building to see what the people were capable of doing and He decided to confuse their language and cause them to become many nations instead of one. So the people scattered from that place and separated according to their languages to become many different nations, kingdoms and tribes. The Bible records that God saw that the people were unrestrained and capable of doing literally anything. Just think of how advanced they must have been.
As our researchers study the ancient world they are starting to recognize that even in the Roman ages, advancements were farther along than we first thought. Information from that time is abundant and still we are far from truly recognizing just how complex their technologies and clever their ingenuity was.
The Bible is our time machine.

This is the great city of Jerusalem. A city that remains the most important place on earth. Where our world truly balances all of it's power and it's conspiricies. But there is a reason why this place demands so much careful respect and attention. This is the city of David, a man after God's own heart. A man who became the first of a lineage of Kings that would one day produce the KING of kings and the LORD of lords. He would be known as the Son of David and his kingdom would have no end. As this city exists, so does the promise of God to David. As this city exists, so does Truth.

It's time to come Home. It's getting dark out.

We live in very interesting and critical times. The world is confused. There are so many different ideas and beliefs conflicting against each other in a never ending barrage of information coming at us from all sides. It seems impossible for anyone to actually know anything for certain anymore. We are conditioned to remain, "open minded" whenever we have the temptation to know something is absolute. It's like a perfect storm of opinions has descended upon the hearts and minds of people around the world. Our minds are like windows that have been left "open" as the dust and debris from the storm whip up.
I'd like to invite you to try to do something revolutionary. I'd like to invite you to come in from the storm where it's safe and calm, close the windows so that there isn't any more mess flying in and just relax while I tell you about things that are absolutely True, Right and Good. Let your soul get refreshed and your heart inspired by the fire of God's unchanging Love and Hope for you.
